{"id":5344,"date":"2024-01-17T16:31:16","date_gmt":"2024-01-17T08:31:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobshola.com\/?page_id=5344"},"modified":"2025-11-26T16:03:21","modified_gmt":"2025-11-26T08:03:21","slug":"data-protection-policy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/jobshola.com\/?page_id=5344","title":{"rendered":"Data Protection Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Job Applicant Data Protection Policy<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This Data Protection Policy (\u201cPolicy\u201d) sets out how <strong>Kingsforce Management Services Pte Ltd<\/strong> (\u201cwe\u201d, \u201cus\u201d, or \u201cour\u201d) collects, uses, discloses, or processes personal data of job applicants in accordance with the <strong>Personal Data Protection Act (\u201cPDPA\u201d)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Policy applies to personal data in our possession or under our control, including data handled by third-party service providers engaged through <strong>JobsHola<\/strong>, our web and mobile application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Policy is an addendum to our <strong>Job Application Form<\/strong> and should be retained as part of the application process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. <strong>Scope<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This Policy applies to all individuals who have applied for any job position with us (\u201cjob applicants\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. <strong>Personal Data<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPersonal data\u201d refers to any information about a job applicant that can identify them, either directly or indirectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples of personal data we may collect include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Name, gender, date of birth, nationality, place of birth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contact details: mailing address, phone number, email<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resume, education, professional qualifications, employment references<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employment and training history<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work-related health issues or disabilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photographs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any additional information voluntarily provided<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. <strong>Collection, Use, and Disclosure<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We collect personal data that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You provide voluntarily (directly or via an authorised representative such as a job placement agent), <strong>with prior notice and written consent<\/strong>, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is permitted or required by law without consent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Purposes of collection, use, and disclosure include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assessing your suitability for employment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verifying identity and accuracy of information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complying with laws, regulations, or assisting regulatory authorities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sharing with authorised third parties or government agencies, locally or abroad<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any other related business purposes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> If you provide another person\u2019s data, you must obtain their consent before sharing it with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. <strong>Withdrawing Consent<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing our <strong>Data Protection Officer (DPO)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We will process requests <strong>within 10 working days<\/strong>, or notify you if additional time is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some requests may not be possible due to legal obligations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Withdrawing consent does not affect our right to process data <strong>where allowed by law without consent<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. <strong>Access to Personal Data<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You may request access to your personal data or information about its use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A reasonable fee may apply; you will be informed beforehand.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Requests will be handled as soon as reasonably possible (normally within 30 days).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Exemptions<\/strong> include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Opinion data, examination data, legal or arbitration proceedings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data that could harm others, reveal confidential commercial information, or violate national interest<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Requests that are repetitious, trivial, or impossible to fulfil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. <strong>Correction of Personal Data<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You may request corrections by emailing our <strong>DPO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Requests will be processed <strong>within 10 days<\/strong>, or you will be informed of delays.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certain data, such as evaluative opinion data or ongoing examination\/prosecution data, cannot be corrected.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. <strong>Protection of Personal Data<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We use administrative, physical, and technical measures to protect personal data, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Antivirus, firewalls, encryption<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Privacy filters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Need-to-know access only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>While we strive for security, no electronic system is completely secure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. <strong>Accuracy<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Please update us if your personal data changes by contacting our <strong>DPO<\/strong> via email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. <strong>Retention<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We retain personal data as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Upon successful employment, application data becomes part of your employment records.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data no longer needed will be securely disposed of.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10. <strong>Transfers Outside Singapore<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>We generally do not transfer data abroad.<br>If necessary, consent will be obtained, and data will remain protected according to PDPA standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">11. <strong>Data Protection Officer (DPO)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Contact for enquiries or requests:<br><strong>Email:<\/strong> <a>dpo@kingsforce.com.sg<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">12. <strong>Policy Updates<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This Policy may be revised without prior notice.
