Primary Responsibilities

The Production Day Supervisor is responsible for administrative tasks for stable and safe plant operation at the Manufacturing site.
The role of Production Day Supervisor entails monitoring, receiving, inspecting, and managing all incoming raw materials, utilities and other supplies, and outgoing waste materials within the production site. The Production Day Supervisor is well versed in operation of business process software like SAP system, and accountable for system posting and inventory and yield management of production activities. Additionally, the Production Day Supervisor supports other production staff for daily plant operation activities. The Production Day Supervisor reports to the Production Manager. Until the
startup of production line, training and learning opportunities is provided by experienced team members. The Production Day Supervisor is responsible for startup readiness of raw materials, utilities, wastes, and other production supplies, including SAP system startup.
Responsibilities:
- Be competent in actual plant operation, and support and assist the shift supervisors and production technicians in the production of EVOH.
- Arrange disposal of waste products with authorized waste handling companies.
- Monitor and control raw materials inventories by liaising with supplier on delivery schedule.
- Conduct raw materials, utilities and production month end posting for GSAP.
- Support and participate in GSAP system setup for raw materials and month end production posting.
- Work with Production Day team on Transition and shutdown maintenance planning.
- Lead safety activities for PPE, 5S, KY and other safety exercise for technicians.
- Support the orientation, training and supervision and evaluation of newly employed and existing production personnel according to the Total Company Training Plan
- and production demands.
- Manage the training of day technicians to achieve the standards required of HSEQ policy and its compliance system i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and SS 651.
- Participate in continual and process improvement.
- Support production shift team on grade change transition activities.
- Act as backup for the other day supervisor during his absent.
- Source and make recommendation to Purchasing for materials used for Production, Logistic and Warehouse Operation.
- Support Warehouse supervisor in product handling and logistics.
