Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the financial and statutory accounting for the assigned entity.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including asset accounting, journal entry creation, account reconciliation, and year-end financial statements.
- Analyze work-in-progress (WIP) and offer recommendations on project profitability and cost optimization.
- Calculate key financial metrics and conduct trend analyses of financial data.
- Participate in the development of group budgets and forecasts.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely filing.
- Manage tax-related responsibilities, including quarterly GST submissions and corporate tax filings.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as needed, which may include reviewing policies and procedures.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree holder in Accounting or equivalent qualifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with SAP system (preferred)
- Detail-oriented and capable of working independently.
