General

• Perform all duties in compliance with the policies/standards of the company and its parent organization.
• Coordinate with all internal Facilities Sections in the execution of assigned projects.
• Coordinate with all inter-department stakeholders for the execution of the assigned projects.
• Ensure a safe working environment for the team members and contractors at all times
• Drive for continuous improvement by leveraging new technologies and data analysis tools.
• Implement effective fire safety management programs to prevent fire incidents.
• Support the company’s sustainability and CSR efforts
• Perform any other initiatives as directed by the Director.
• Any other works as may be reasonably assigned by the company

Project Management

• The main roles of this position include planning, design, and construction management of the Electrical, Lift/Escalator, and Fire Safety system for the company. The successful candidate will work closely with the Facilities Electrical/Fire Team and Consultants to ensure code and regulatory compliance, quality, reliability, resiliency, efficiency, and maintainability of the system. The candidate shall work with multi-disciplinary stakeholders, managing, coordinating, and interfacing with construction implementation to ensure construction is carried out safely, within budget and schedule, and meeting the highest quality standards.
• Perform full spectrum of Project Management relating to Electrical Engineering Services
• Manage consultants’ and contractors’ schedules.
• Co-coordinating, supervising, and planning construction activities carried out by the contractors for all related equipment and systems in order to meet the required objectives.
• Ensure adequate quality control measures either via on-site/off-site inspection and all completion/pre-handover inspections.
• Proactively identifies changes in project scope and ensures appropriate measures are taken
• Coordination and liaison with various stakeholders in the company.
• Liaison with Government and Statutory Boards such as EMA, BCA and SP if needed by the project.
• Prepare and issue all necessary documents needed by the projects
• Review, and recommend Subcon claim, Variation order, and final account statement for the department head for approval
• Prepare handover form, and CSC forms for department head approval.
• Sign off all site inspection forms with the contractor representative.
• Planned, coordinated, and guided the vendor in the direction of work to be executed.

• Electrical Engineering

• At least 10 years of Project Management relevant/related working experience
• Worked on A&A projects and/or Designed and Built in various types of projects with different natures.
• Preference will be given to those with experience in a related hospitality industry.
• Knowledge in High and Low voltage electrical, SCADA, Lift and Escalators, and Fire Systems.
• Competencies
• Able to understand electrical drawing, specifications and requirements.
• Technically competent across the full range of HT/LV electrical systems, Lift/Escalator and Fire Safety Systems
• Possess good communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills to coordinate and communicate with contractors and consultants to execute work
• Be able to work under pressure and independently to deliver results.
• Proven track record of successful project completion on time and on budget.
• Good knowledge of the design codes and standards for M&E systems
• Able to manage multiple CAPEX projects simultaneously.
