Primary Responsibilities
|
| |
The EICA Engineer shall be in the discipline of Electrical, Instrumentation & Control in delivery of large scale power generation project. The Engineer shall have at least 5 years of relevant engineering experience in delivery of large scale industrial/ utilities projects (e.g. waste, water, oil & gas or power) or relevant experience in delivering large solid waste management projects (e.g. WTE, sludge incineration, materials recovery and food waste treatment).
- Work as owner’s engineer to lead the electrical team for project implementation at site.
- Review the submittals from Contractors for electrical installation and commissioning procedures of various sub-packages.
- Engage in site meetings with technical discussion contractor and client
- Joining site inspection for contractors works.
- Participation of FAT and SAT of electrical equipment
- Contracts management in managing site works while maintaining swift communication with client and contractors for the WtE project
- Review of DCS / PLC system configuration, topology and controller, RIO engineering deliverables for the implementation of WTE automation systems
- Review the submittals from Contractors for Process Control like STG package, Incinerator-Boiler System, Water Steam Cycle, weighbridge system, building services, Enterprise Resources Planning, EMIS, PFMS, Communication Network Infrastructure etc.
- Essential understanding of P&ID of process engineering
- Engage in Technical discussion for all control system related issue with contractor and client
- Participate in HAZOP review, SIL safety and design for safety workshops
- Work with electrical team closely for all power and process interfaces
- Participation of FAT of automation equipment DCS, EMIS, PMS, PLC, Weighbridge systems etc
- Provide Technical support in Testing and Commissioning of WTE plant

- Proactive attitude and solution orientated personality with leadership mentality and for the EICA discipline, assisting project director for the contract execution.
- Strong capability and experience on 66kV, 10.5kV, 6.6kV and LV related power distribution equipment and cabling installation and commissioning requirement. Experience of large power transformers, generator circuit breakers, MV switchgear, protections and control equipment, MCC and UPS and DC system is expected.
- Having good understanding and interpretation of SLD, protection and metering SLD, schematics and cabling drawings.
- In depth of understanding for electrical power automation for electrification of WtE project.
- Ability to use Navisworks to review 3D BIM Model for routing of site utilities
- Familiar with SS638 requirements on electrical installations in Singapore.
- Having multi-discipline coordination attitude in execution of electrical works
- Basic knowledge of instrumentation and control equipment for site works
- Review the submittals from Contractors for electrical installation and commissioning procedures of various sub-packages.
- Ability to use Navisworks to review 3D BIM Model for routing of site utilities
