Primary Responsibilities
 

Position Summary: Blends, fills, labels and seals all resin products using the approved procedures, Work Instructions, Work orders and all known Standard Operating Procedures.

  1. Communicate between all departments concerning availability of incoming raw materials or components, QC information, and batch manufacturing information.
  2. You will need to operate powered material handling equipment.
  3. Responsible for the material movement within the chemical operation department.
  4. Maintain stockroom ensuring that transaction, transfer receipts are handled properly.
  5. Report to Inventory control any suspected inventory discrepancies.
  6. Keep the facility clean and clear of clutter or obstructions. Maintain and collect hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance to current EH&S policies.
  7. Accurately fill and properly attach labels to accepted products as instructed by the Department Supervisor and Team leader and to assist other associates within the department as needed.
  8. Put raw materials away in chemical operation department and carry out electronic transactions.
  9. Load oven with raw material for scheduled work and transfer electronically.
  10. Perform stock counts.
  11. Handle and organize hazardous and non-hazardous waste collection areas in accordance to current EH&S policies.
  12. Clean mixing vessels.
  13. Maintain inventory by putting away drums and pails in their proper locations after they are used each shift.
  14. Ensure all equipment is put back into proper location at the end of each day.
  15. Carry out 6s duties as assigned.
  16. Properly dispose of empty adhesive pails and drums and coordinate with Inventory Control.
  17. Perform transaction in ERP system.
  18. Maintain a clean and organize workstation and bulk storage and finished product inventory in accordance with the 6S guidelines.

  • Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent; ITE in chemical, manufacturing, or related fields is a plus.

  • Experience in chemical or resin blending operations preferred, including handling raw materials, filling, labeling, and sealing products.

  • Able to carry 20–25kg of heavy materials.

  • Familiarity with SOPs, Work Instructions, and batch production procedures.

  • Ability to operate powered material handling equipment safely.

  • Knowledge of inventory management and ERP systems for stock tracking and transaction recording.

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate labeling, filling, and documentation.

  • Understanding of EH&S policies and safe handling/disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

  • Physical stamina to lift, move, and handle drums, pails, and other production materials.

  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and 6S-compliant workstation.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with multiple departments.

  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to follow instructions accurately.

  • Working hours: 8am-5pm
