Primary Responsibilities

Perform daily mechanical maintenance on production equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic presses, pressure test rigs, and rotating machinery.

Troubleshoot mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs or part replacements to minimise equipment downtime.
-
Assist in servicing and maintaining CNC machines, welding stations, lifting equipment, and other plant assets used in manufacturing.

Read and interpret technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, and maintenance instructions.
-
Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to ensure smooth equipment operation.
-
Support installation and commissioning of new machines and upgrades to existing systems.
-
Maintain proper use and storage of mechanical tools, lifting devices, and workshop equipment.
-
Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
-
Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Permit to Work (PTW), and safe lifting practices in accordance with Singapore’s WSH (Workplace Safety & Health) regulations.
-
Participate in toolbox meetings and job hazard assessments.

NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or relevant technical discipline.

3–5 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Experience in Oil & Gas or subsea equipment manufacturing is a strong advantage.

Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Proficient in the use of hand tools, mechanical measuring instruments, and lifting equipment.

Able to read mechanical drawings and follow detailed work instructions.
-
Basic welding or fabrication skills is a plus.

Team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, when necessary.
