Primary Responsibilities
|
| |
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct material inspections, installation acceptance, system testing, and debugging for all MEP subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Coordinate with licensing authorities and collaborate with L&K for on-site witnessing and inspections required for regulatory licenses such as RI, TOP, LEED, and Green Mark.
- Assist the quality control team with weekly inspections and daily quality management; prepare and track lists of missing or deficient items and monitor rectifications.
- Support system acceptance activities by assisting in the testing and commissioning of water supply, drainage, air supply, and power supply systems, and witness government inspections.
- Inspect and witness acceptance and testing of steel structures including pipe racks, cooling tower frames, catwalks, ladders, and stairs within project scope.
- Prepare and submit detailed weekly RTO acceptance reports; organize and archive acceptance documentation and provide professional recommendations for rectifications.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and promote a safe working environment on site.
- Manage working hours effectively, including overtime and public holiday work as approved, to support project timelines.
Qualifications & Specialization:
- Valid Resident Technical Officer (RTO) certification or equivalent recognized professional licenses with BCSS permits.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including fire protection, HVAC (air conditioning, ventilation, chilled water), plumbing, electrical, and lightning protection systems, with experience in clean room projects.
- Proven experience in quality control, system acceptance, and coordination with regulatory bodies.
- Competent in structural inspections related to steel frameworks within project scope.
- Familiarity with statutory licenses and regulatory requirements in Singapore (RI, TOP, LEED, Green Mark).
- Excellent reporting, communication, and documentation skills.
- Commitment to safety and site coordination protocols.
