Primary Responsibilities
 
  • Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies for flow control products, systems, and valves for the marine industry to increase market share.
  • Identify and pursue new business leads, visiting potential customers to uncover opportunities.
  • Identify customer needs, prepare technical proposals, prepare quotations, and ensure timely follow-up with customers.
  • Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Provide regular updates on sales activities and performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients

  • Candidates must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales managerial experience. Relevant experience in Marine Industry is a MUST.
  • Solid technical knowledge of valves, valve control products and system experience.
  • Good network and customer contacts in marine/offshore markets locally and overseas, especially with Ship owners and Shipyards.
  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Familiarity with the new business development industry and its trends
  • Travel within SEA region is required.
  • Able to work independently, strong initiative as well as a team player.
  • Proficient in MS Office and computer literate.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.
