Primary Responsibilities
 
  • Driving / Operating all kinds of vehicles/ Equipment in relation to the class of license candidate possesses, including but not limited to the following :-
  1. Tipper lorry of all sizes
  2. Concrete mixer truck
  3. Lorries (10 /14 footer)
  4. Passenger van
  5. Lorry crane
  6. Dumper, Vibratory roller (with specific Training)
  • Perform daily check and maintenance of vehicle/ equipment before driving/ operating
  • Ensure vehicle/ equipment have valid certificates and inspection before driving/operating
  • Ensure vehicle undergo monthly/ weekly or any scheduled maintenance regime and inspection
  • Ensure all required permission and certificate are in place before operation/driving.
  • Ensure that vehicles / equipment are in safe working condition before operating
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of the vehicles / equipment operating on.
  • Obey all traffic rules and regulations (both mandatory and project/ site requirements) related to driving, lifting procedures and parking etc.
  • Ensure all goods are secured before moving off
  • Ensure all passengers are seated or belted up (where required) before moving out
  • Report promptly to the PIC on any abnormality/damage found on the vehicle / equipment
  • Always drive the vehicles/ operate the equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Report any incidents/ accidents or observations promptly
  • Always keep the vehicle clean and tidy. Daily houskeeping, cleaning/ washing of the vehicles is expected
  • Attend any safety courses, TBM, meetings, etc. as required
  • To perform other tasks as instructed by Project incharge
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job complishments.
  • Upholding Company’s work ethics and proper display of representation to Clients/Vendors/Subcon
