Primary Responsibilities
|
| |
- Direct control & supervision of workers and sub-contractors related to piping activities at site.
- Ensure the latest of “FOR CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS” AND “SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION” is in used by the sub-contractor, and if not, makes sure the Sub-contractor collects the latest issues.
- Coordinator with QC for all the related inspection and NDT requirement.
- Check field works and carry out the works in proper manner.
- Keep daily activity progress record and log any problems that may exist for immediate action.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work reports and submit them to the superior timely.
- Preparation of punch listing and expedite the punch-out.
- Monitor actual daily manpower/equipment mobilized, check it based on the plan, and report to the piping engineer/HOD.
- Assist to expedite “JCS” works and report to the piping engineer/coordinator.
- Understanding scope of works and supply requirement such as terms of condition with client and subcontractors, construction organization, project coordination procedure.
- Check and ensure that works are carrying out according to the priority sequence given form the piping discipline lead engineer/HOD.
- Monitor and ensuring the field piping materials are well maintain at side and report any discrepancy to lead engineer.
- Ensure that subordinates are trained and knowledgeable of specifications and work procedures, to ensure optimum efficiency, and work is being performed in conformance with specified quality requirements.
