Primary Responsibilities
 
  • Responsible for the overall safety performance of the Machine Shop, Welding, Fabrication, and Manufacturing Engineering departments.
  • Work closely with the HSE Department to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company Health & Safety procedures, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Ensure lifting equipment, forklifts, and general ancillary equipment are properly maintained and operated safely.
  • Manage Manufacturing Engineering activities including engineering drawing review, process routing, CNC programming, tooling requirements, and process improvements.
  • Manage manufacturing resources to achieve company targets in revenue, on-time delivery, safety, and quality performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 6S, Goal Zero, and productivity improvement programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, API Q1, API Q2, and applicable API product specifications.
  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations and resolve shop floor issues.
  • Monitor machine health and downtime by working closely with Maintenance Supervisors to improve equipment availability.
  • Prepare monthly operational reports and provide updates to the Plant Manager.
  • Support the Plant Manager in monthly budget planning, cost monitoring, and budget adherence.
  • Lead and manage manufacturing teams to improve productivity, operational efficiency, and overall performance.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably within machining, fabrication, welding, or oil & gas manufacturing industries.
