Primary Responsibilities
|
| |
- Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of end-to-end production, warehouse, wet process, dry process, batch mixing, packaging, utility systems, and facilities to ensure uninterrupted utilities supply and engineering support for manufacturing operations.
- Perform routine operations, planned preventive maintenance, and ad-hoc corrective maintenance on utility systems and facilities.
- Conduct routine maintenance activities on mechanical equipment and systems.
- Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Repair or replace faulty mechanical components, including bearings, belts, valves, pumps, and other equipment parts.
- Carry out preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment used for mechanical maintenance activities.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and engineering drawings related to mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to plan and execute mechanical maintenance projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations while working with mechanical systems and machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
- Support installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors/vendors to ensure work is performed according to procedures and requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance, repair, and service activities.
- Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of work areas.
- Follow safe working procedures and workplace safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Execute duties in accordance with written procedures and promptly report any GMP non-conformances.
- Maintain awareness and demonstrate commitment to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, procedures, guidelines, and GMP requirements within assigned areas of responsibility.

- GCE Level, Technical qualifications, or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Marine / Mechatronics / Air Conditioning / Refrigeration or equivalent.
- Preferably with relevant working experience in operations and maintenance within the Pharmaceutical, Food, Petrochemical, Wafer, or Semiconductor industries.
- Possess MOM 1st Class or 2nd Class Steam Boiler Attendant Certificate, Electrical Worker Certificate, or relevant electrical license will be an advantage.
- Experience working in cGMP, ISO 9001/14001, and OSHA 18001 environments.
- Willing to work on rotating shifts.
- Basic welding and pipe fitting experience will be an advantage.
- Able to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklift and scissor lift will be preferred.
