Primary Responsibilities
|
| |
- Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of production areas, warehouse, wet process, dry process, batch mixing, packaging, utility systems, and facilities to ensure uninterrupted engineering support for manufacturing operations.
- Perform routine operations, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, utility systems, and facilities.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, instrumentation equipment, and related components.
- Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular inspections, calibration, and testing of instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, instrumentation diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Support electrical and instrumentation improvement projects and collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, calibration, and equipment performance.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors to ensure work is carried out according to procedures and requirements.
- Train and guide junior technicians on electrical and instrumentation maintenance procedures.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, quality standards, safety procedures, and company guidelines.
- Maintain proper documentation for all maintenance, repair, calibration, and service activities.
- Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of work areas.
- Follow Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements and safe working practices when handling electrical systems and hazardous materials.
- Keep updated with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Promptly report any GMP non-conformances and safety observations in accordance with established procedures.

- GCE Level, Technical qualification, or Diploma in Electrical / Mechatronics or equivalent.
- Good to have welder certification/ experience. Must have electrician background
- Preferably with relevant working experience in operations and maintenance within the Pharmaceutical, Food, Petrochemical, Wafer, or Semiconductor industries.
- Possess Electrical Worker Certificate or relevant electrical license will be an advantage.
- Experience working in cGMP, ISO 9001/14001, and OSHA 18001 environments.
- Willing to work on rotating shifts.
