Primary Responsibilities
 
  • Provide HSE guidance and support to construction projects.
  • Monitor contractor safety performance and ensure adequate HSE resources are in place.
  • Conduct site inspections, contractor audits, and worker safety engagements.
  • Review and monitor construction phase safety plans and compliance with regulatory and project requirements.
  • Investigate incidents, support root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Monitor project safety KPIs and prepare HSE reports and dashboards.
  • Record safety observations and track corrective actions to closure.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through training, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and site stakeholders to ensure safe project execution.

  • Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) experience in construction or major project environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety & Health legislation and construction safety regulations.
  • Experience conducting contractor audits, site inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Familiar with construction safety management throughout project execution, including installation, commissioning, and qualification activities.
  • Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, semiconductor, or other regulated industrial environments is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleanroom construction and GMP project execution will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
