Primary Responsibilities
|
| |
- Provide technical support for cost estimation of procurement in tendering stage
- Review the customer’s input documents including SOW and specifications, raise technical query if necessary
- Carry out work according to applicable company and project procedures and work instructions, project specifications in engineering activities for several phases of projects such as Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC
- Prepare and Issue technical specifications, Requisitions, and Data sheets for Static Equipment.
- Perform technical evaluation of supplier quotations
- Participate in P&ID, HAZOP, 3D Model Review and communicated with related discipline to complete the design work
- Review and approval of supplier documentation and drawing, coordinate with Vendors/ Suppliers to solve the equipment technical issues.
- Able to justify Technical Deviation (TD) and Technical Clarification (TC) from project specification and endorse the such TC/TD to Client
- Have awareness on change management and being able to identify and report changes in the scope of work.
- Maintain quality and support QA Department to ensure the quality of procured items and attend the inspection and test of equipment as required.
- Coordinate with vendor to solve the fabrication/assembling issues in Yard/Construction site
- Participate/Support Quality System setup in mechanical discipline including Quality Documents update, internal engineer training and etc.
- Being able to provide technical support to other Engineering Discipline such as interdisciplinary document review.
- Knowledgeable in Pressure Vessel calculation software – PV Elite/Compress/etc.
- Knowledgeable on International Standard code use in fabrication of static equipment such as ASME BPVC, TEMA, API, NACE, etc.
- Knowledgeable in design and drafting of vessel fabrication drawing is an advantage.
- Knowledge on Material Handling Philosophy and study report is an advantage.

• Bachelor degree or above in oil & gas mechanical engineering
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Static Equipment Engineering and Design in the Oil and Gas industry and significant experience in offshore engineering.
• Offshore experience is an advantage (FEED and detailed design) for FLNG/FPSO/FPU/Central Production Platform/Wellhead Platform.
• Experience/ knowledge of Classification Rules and related Offshore Standards / Regulations
• Proficient in written English and Fluent in spoken English
• Skillful for computer software as Microsoft Word/Excel/Teams, Auto CAD, Navisworks and etc.
