Primary Responsibilities
 
  • Manages and lead the Finance team in Malaysia office.
  • Develops financial strategies of the organisation by providing financial projections, preparing growth plans.
  • Leads business restructuring and attract capital structure, and look into new cost structure and business growth.
  • Oversees financial reporting and ensure its timeliness, completeness and usability.
  • Strategic planning and scanning the market environment.
  • Capital planning and developing financing and monetisation options to support growth.
  • Develops finance organisational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction, establishing functional objectives in line with organisational objectives.
  • Maximises return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities, maintaining relationships with the investment community.
  • Develops organisational prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities, projecting acquisition and expansion prospects, analysing organisation operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction and systems enhancement. accumulating capital to fund expansion.
  • Monitors financial performance by measuring and analysing results, initiating corrective actions, minimising the impact of variances.
  • Reports financial status by developing forecasts. reporting results, analysing variances, developing improvements.
  • Process improvement and simplifying process.
  • Any other duties as and when the needs arises.
