Primary Responsibilities
|
| |
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to manage Addition & Alteration (A&A) projects within a large, mixed-use development. This role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering A&A works while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, contractual obligations, and high-quality standards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and execute A&A projects from inception to completion, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of work.

Review and validate project drawings, specifications, method statements, and risk assessments.

Ensure compliance with Singapore statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g., BCA, SCDF, MOM, NEA, PUB).

Obtain necessary permits and approvals for A&A works.

Monitor project progress, quality, and safety standards through regular site inspections.
-
Identify and resolve project issues, defects, and non-conformances promptly.

Prepare project reports, cost tracking, and dashboards for management review.

Manage handover documentation and ensure proper integration with existing facilities.

Promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and service excellence throughout project execution.
Requirements
-
Diploma or Degree in Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline.

3–5 years of experience in A&A projects, facilities management, or building operations.
-
Strong understanding of architectural and building systems (ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire safety) and construction processes.
-
Familiarity with Singapore codes of practice and statutory submission requirements.
-
Experience in project management tools and FM documentation systems.
-
Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
-
Ability to manage multiple projects in a large-scale, 24/7 operational environment.
-
Professional certifications (FSM, ISO auditor, Green Mark, Project Management) will be an advantage.
