Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to manage Addition & Alteration (A&A) projects within a large, mixed-use development. This role focuses on planning, coordinating, and delivering A&A works while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, contractual obligations, and high-quality standards. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute A&A projects from inception to completion, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of work.

  • Review and validate project drawings, specifications, method statements, and risk assessments.

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g., BCA, SCDF, MOM, NEA, PUB).

  • Obtain necessary permits and approvals for A&A works.

  • Monitor project progress, quality, and safety standards through regular site inspections.

  • Identify and resolve project issues, defects, and non-conformances promptly.

  • Prepare project reports, cost tracking, and dashboards for management review.

  • Manage handover documentation and ensure proper integration with existing facilities.

  • Promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and service excellence throughout project execution.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline.

  • 3–5 years of experience in A&A projects, facilities management, or building operations.

  • Strong understanding of architectural and building systems (ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire safety) and construction processes.

  • Familiarity with Singapore codes of practice and statutory submission requirements.

  • Experience in project management tools and FM documentation systems.

  • Excellent coordination, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a large-scale, 24/7 operational environment.

  • Professional certifications (FSM, ISO auditor, Green Mark, Project Management) will be an advantage.
