Primary Responsibilities
|
| |
1) Lead a 80P multi-disciplines design team to implement and complete the FEED and
Detail Design work for newbuilding Jacket Wellhead platform;
2) Negotiation and communication among the Company’s and Third Party engineering
top management and other department managers to ensure the Engineering Contract
and deliverables are complying with Client requirements within budgets and schedule;
3) Approve and / or advise on the jacket platform steel structure stability and fatigue
strength calculation reports, pile soil interaction calculation notes, specification of
materials selection etc;
4) Manage in-house team to optimize the Jacket WHP design quality, technical safety with
cost-saving and HSE / Performance guarantee;

1) Bachelor degree or above in naval architecture, civil/structural engineering with
minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in offshore Jacket Wellhead Platform and
Jackup production platform;
2) Directly led the whole jacket platform design international project as design manager
(incl. FEED and detailed design);
3) Proficient experience in engineering analysis software such as SACS, Sesam GeniE.
Good knowledge of steel structure 3D Design Softwares like, AM, Tekla etc ;
4) Proven knowledge of Classification Rules and related Offshore Standards / Regulations
like API, AISC, DNV, ABS, BV, ASME etc.
5) Hands-on experience for Jacket construction and installation and the knowledge of oil
&gas process philosophy is preferred, including jacket offshore installation experience;
6) Cheerful pleasant personality with strong and wise leadership.
7) Project top management skills and experience is needed.
8) Willing to oversea business travel.
