Primary Responsibilities
|
| |
• Provide technical support for cost estimation of procurement in tendering stage
• Review the customer’s input documents including SOW and specifications, raise technical query if necessary
• Carry out work according to applicable company and project procedures and work instructions, project specifications in engineering activities for several phases of projects such as Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC
• Prepare and Issue technical specifications, Requisitions, and Data sheets for Package equipment such as Chemical injection package, Flare package, Waste water treatment package, Produced water treatment system, Waste Heat Recovery Unit, Mercury Removal unit, Gas Dehydration Package, and etc.
• Perform technical evaluation of supplier quotations
• Participate in P&ID, HAZOP, 3D Model Review and communicate with related discipline to complete the design work
• Review and approval of supplier documentation, coordinate with Vendors/ Suppliers to solve the equipment technical issues.
• Identify and report any extra work related to changes in the scope of work
• Support QA Department to ensure the quality of procured items and attend the inspection
and test of equipment as required, e.g. Pre-inspection meeting, FAT, SAT, and etc.
• Coordinate with vendor to solve the fabrication/assembling issues in Yard
• Participate/Support Quality System setup in mechanical discipline including Quality Documents update, internal engineer training and etc
• Proved experience in offshore engineering is an advantage.

• Minimum of 13 years of experience in Package Equipment Selection and Design in the Oil and Gas industry
• Directly participated the topside mechanical design works (incl. FEED and detailed design) for FLNG/FPSO/FPU/Central Production Platform/Wellhead Platform
• Experience of Classification Rules and related Offshore Standards / Regulations
• Familiar with International code and standard as API, ASME, ANSI
• Proficient in written English and Fluent in spoken English
• Skillful for computer software as Microsoft Word/Excel/Teams, Auto CAD, Navisworks and etc
