Engineering Support:
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to prospective junior engineers in the design and analysis of heat exchangers.
• Interface with other engineering disciplines
• Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts for heat exchanger performance issues during design phases.

Heat Exchanger Selection and Sizing:
• Authority for the selection of appropriate heat exchanger types (e.g., fixed tube sheet, U-tube, floating head) based on specific process/project needs.
• Authority for thermal design calculations, including fouling factors, heat transfer coefficients, pressure drops, and flow arrangements.
• Review and approve heat exchanger datasheets, drawings, and specifications.

Design Optimization and Process Integration:
• Identify and implement improvements to increase efficiency of heat exchanger designs.
• Collaborate with project teams to assess and propose alternative heat exchanger solutions for complex process requirements.

Project Management & Reporting:
• Assist in the preparation of project technical proposals, bids, and cost estimates.
