– Devising and implementing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
– Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment.
– Conducting quality assurance tests and performing statistical analysis to assess the level of control and manage product quality risks.
– Undertaking root cause analysis of incidents requiring corrective action.
– Ensures that corrective measures and deviation meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

• Mechanical Engineering

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control within the oil & gas, subsea, or heavy manufacturing industry.

• Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspection techniques, and testing procedures applicable to subsea drilling equipment.

• Hands-on experience in devising and implementing methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating product and equipment precision and accuracy.

• Proficiency in designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment to ensure compliance with quality specifications.

• Experience conducting quality assurance tests and performing statistical analysis to assess control levels and manage product quality risks.

• Skilled in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence of defects or incidents.

• Knowledge of documentation requirements, ensuring corrective measures and deviations meet acceptable reliability and regulatory standards.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under strict quality and safety requirements.

• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and report findings to management.

• Familiarity with relevant QA/QC tools, software, and methodologies used in subsea/oil & gas manufacturing environments.
