About the Role

This role sits within the Engineering function and supports both project execution and operational continuity through drafting, drawing control, and document management.

You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining engineering drawings while ensuring strict control of documentation in line with compliance and audit requirements. The role requires close coordination with engineering teams to ensure accuracy of designs and alignment with site conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update piping and architectural layouts using AutoCAD for engineering projects
  • Perform site verification to ensure drawings accurately reflect installed conditions
  • Produce and maintain drawings across IFD, IFC, and as-built stages
  • Manage engineering drawings and documentation, including version control, redlining, and updates
  • Maintain a centralized document database ensuring only current revisions are in circulation
  • Support document archival and retrieval for both project and operational requirements
  • Ensure all new project documentation is properly catalogued and stored
  • Assist with compliance processes, including internal and external audits
  • Maintain master lists for drawings, equipment, components, and line systems
  • Assign and manage engineering identifiers (equipment ID, component ID, line ID, drawing numbers)

 

About the Candidate

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, structured, and experienced in working within regulated or compliance-driven environments.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 12 years of relevant experience in drafting and document control
  • Proficient in AutoCAD with strong technical drafting capabilities
  • Experience managing engineering drawings and documentation lifecycle
  • Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g. GMP) is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of version control, document management systems, and audit requirements
  • Ability to handle multiple document streams with high accuracy
  • Good coordination and communication skills with engineering stakeholders
