Primary Responsibilities:
Provide Blending & Down Packaging department with material to fulfill orders, responsible for material movement within the warehouse and stockrooms, maintains stockroom, ensuring that transactions and receipts are handled properly. Reports to Production Manager any suspected inventory discrepancies and must be qualified to operate powered material handling equipment. Keep facility clean and clear of clutter and obstructions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Blending & Down Packaging raw materials to manufacture product.
- Maintain inventory by putting away drums and pails in proper locations after use.
- Maintain warehouse by making sure at the end of the day all finishes product, supplies, parts, are properly and neatly stored.
- Manage warehouse inventory and perform monthly cycle count.
- Support production in filtering process.
- Properly dispose of empty adhesive pails as needed when conditions permit.
- Keep warehouse and material handling workstation swept, clean, and organized each day.
- Responsible for executing and ensure waste management according to company waste management plan.
- 4-eye check and assurance of raw material picking, weighing, charging for both blending and downpacking.
- Gain understanding of production processes in order to conduct hands on operational 4-eyes check of operator’s SOP compliance.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- At least secondary school level education.
- Able to communicate in English and perform simple math calculations.
- Physically fit and able to carry heavy loads, between 20 - 25kg.
- Able to follow work instructions, and work well within a team to achieve production targets.
